Hi there, I am Gbemisola Adekoya and I am a data analyst. I love solving problems and I appreciate when I can draw insight from data and help build actionable solutions. I leverage on existing tools to bring about data driven solutions. I am proficient in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python for data analysis. I also enjoy being part of new technologies and trying out innovative solutions. Aside data, I enjoy listening to music, garnering information on different industries and fantasize travelling the world.
In this project, I play the role of a Power BI developer for a manufacturing company in Germany who are looking to create some Power BI Reports to assist in guiding their strategies, tactics, and operations as a company. I leveraged the use of Power BI both as a data visualization tool and business intelligence tool.
In this project, I performed an exploratory analysis on a cardiovascular disease dataset of 70,000 records of patients’ data. The goal of the analysis was to find major risk factors for cardiovascular disease. I also built a slide deck using jupyter notebook to communicate my findings.
In this project, I carried out an analysis on a list of the top 250 movies on IMDb to explore the characteristics / by what criteria IMDb uses to qualify them as 'TOP'. The data used for this project was scrapped from IMDb website using requests and beautiful soup to parse the page contents, cleaned, explored and analysed using pandas, matplotlib and seaborn libraries to bring about insights.
